OUR MISSIONARIES

The Roberts Family

Northern Thailand
Troy and Cora Roberts, originally from Bonners Ferry, Idaho, were sent out by Mt Hall Community Church in 2007 when they began using teaching as missions in rural Alaska. After seven years, they felt called to move to the unreached parts of Asia. In 2014, they moved to Northern Thailand, where they now teach at Chiang Rai International Christian School.
Troy uses his roles as secondary principal, math/science teacher, and basketball coach to connect with students. Some already know Christ, and some don't. Either way, his heart is to love and disciple them, always pointing them to the Savior.
Cora coordinates the regional women's ministry, creating opportunities for women to connect deeply with each other and with Jesus.
Chanan, Rinnah, and Amos are their wonderful (and energetic) children.

The Cheshire Family

Mongolia
"What they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand - Isaiah 52:15b"
Mongolia has the lowest population density of any country on earth. Extremely harsh climate and vast, empty distances make rural Mongolia a difficult place to survive. The vast majority of “roads” for remote villages are unimproved dirt tracks which can be covered by drifting snow for up to half of the year. Aviation is a means to overcome these unique travel challenges. The Cheshire's are developing Hope Flight air ambulance service to demonstrate God's love for remote countryside people through aviation.
